Pair Arrested Following Robbery Attempt in Alamo

Officers from the Alamo Contra Costa Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a report of an attempted robbery in which a suspect brandished a firearm at the Shell gas station on Danville Boulevard.

Arriving officers immediately established a perimeter with the help of a K9 unit from the Danville Police Department and located two male adults they believed were involved in the incident. They immediately took the suspects into custody at gunpoint.

During the investigation, police recovered a firearm from one of the suspects, believed to be used in the robbery attempt. 

Both suspects were arrested for robbery.
