Weekly Drama: July 2016 – Week One
Sunday, July 3rd
[San Ramon] 8:30 PM – Police responded to a report of a 8-year-old juvenile drinking a beer in the parking lot of the Muirlands Apartments. Officers located the child upon arrival.
[Danville] 10:00 PM – Police responded to a report of shirtless subjects yelling at each other near Pete’s Brass Rail. Officers were able to… calm them down.
Monday, July 4th
[San Ramon] 4:30 PM – Police were dispatched to a report of an individual attempting to shoplift a duffle bag full of meat ribs. Officers made contact with the person before he was able to leave the store.
Tuesday, July 5th
[Alamo] 9:30 PM – Sheriff deputies responded to a report that an individual was punched and knocked unconscious near the CVS. Deputies located the victim, but not the suspect, who fled on foot.
[San Ramon] 10:00 PM – Police were notified of fireworks being lit from a recklessly-driven yellow vehicle near Dougherty Road.
Thursday, July 7th
[Danville] 7:30 PM – Multiple citizens called police reporting a female dressed in “hippie” attire dancing in the middle of Diablo Road and appeared to be on drugs. Officers made contact with the woman, who claimed she was attempting to refuel her vehicle.
Friday, July 8th
[Danville] 7:30 PM – Police received a report of a “malnourished” wild coyote walking on a nearby hill. It was unclear what the caller wanted officers to do.
[Blackhawk] 8:30 PM – Blackhawk Plaza security notified Sheriff’s deputies of an intoxicated pair who were refusing to leave the “Rock the Plaza” concert. The two vanished before deputies arrived.
Saturday, July 9th
[Danville] 10:30 PM – Police were notified of a golf cart driving recklessly in the Greenbrook neighborhood. There was also reportedly a small child in the passenger seat.
