The Weekly Drama is an overview of Police/Fire incidents (newsworthy or not) that took place in the San Ramon Valley during the week, but never made news headlines.
Sunday, August 28th
[San Ramon] 10:00 AM – Officers conducted a welfare check on a man who appeared to be passed out on the front porch of a residence. They discovered that he was intoxicated and taking a nap.
[Blackhawk] 3:00 PM – Firefighters from the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District saved a baby deer that became stuck in a fence. Read more.
[Danville] 7:30 PM – Police received a report of a noise disturbance at the Grange Hall. Folks were asked to turn it down.
[San Ramon] 8:00 PM – Firefighters and police responded to the Iron Horse Trail after a passerby discovered a man passed out with an alcohol bottle in his hand. He was given the proper medical attention.
[Danville] 8:30 PM – The California Highway Patrol received about 10 reports of an object in the fast lane of I-680. Apparently, callers couldn’t decide what the object was. People reported the object was: a hot tub, large object, couch, table, camper shell, and a refrigerator. Officers located the hot tub upon arrival and relocated it to the left hand shoulder.
Tuesday, August 30th
[Alamo] 12:50 AM – Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report that an agitated man attempted to get into a vehicle that did not belong to him at the Round Hill Country Club.
[San Ramon] 1:00 PM – Police responded to a report of unknown juveniles in front of a residence. The caller was suspicious because she was told her home was a “Pokemon Ghost Spot.”
Thursday, September 1st
[Alamo] 3:30 PM – Citizens broke down a door to free a child who was trapped in a Rancho Romero bathroom for over an hour.
[San Ramon] 4:00 PM – Police received a call from a concerned citizen reporting a fight between Whole Foods Security and a shoplifter outside the store. The shoplifter got away but broke the teapot he was attempting to steal. Read more.
[San Ramon] 6:30 PM – Firefighters responded to California High School to aid a 15-year-old football player who experienced a traumatic injury during a freshman football game. He was airlifted. Read more.
Friday, September 2nd
[Danville] 8:00 PM – The Sheriff’s Office received reports of multiple burglaries within a short time frame near Knolls Creek Drive. No suspect info was available.
Saturday, September 3rd
[Alamo] 11:00 PM – Sheriff’s deputies responded after a resident found an unknown man sleeping in a bedroom on their property near Stone Valley Road. The man was taken into custody.
[San Ramon] 11:30 PM – Police received a report that rocks were thrown into a window of a residence and vehicle on Inverness Court.
