Weekly Drama: November 2016 – Week One
The Weekly Drama is an overview of Police/Fire incidents (newsworthy or not) that took place in the San Ramon Valley during the week, but never made news headlines.
Tuesday, November 1st
[Blackhawk] 3:00 PM – Firefighters were dispatched to a report of a hazard: a piece of luggage was reportedly covered in jet fuel. The problem was mitigated.
[San Ramon] 10:00 PM – Paramedics responded to aid a 20-year-old man who collapsed inside Home Depot. Bystanders and arriving police officers conducted CPR before he was transported to the hospital.
Wednesday, November 2nd
[Danville] 11:00 PM – An elderly woman called police asking for help turning her alarm clock off. Officers responded and helped her.
Friday, November 4th
[Blackhawk] 8:00 PM – Deputies were called to the Blackhawk Plaza where an intoxicated man was reportedly yelling about politics and threatening to drive home in his “big truck.” He was arrested for being drunk in public.
Saturday, November 5th
[San Ramon] 1:00 AM – Police were called after Bishop Ranch security found a Jeep inside a lake on the property. It’s unknown how it got there.
[Danville] 1:00 AM – Officers responded to a report of an intruder inside a residence. Upon arriving, they discovered the suspect had fled on a golf cart. Further investigation revealed that the “suspect” was actually a family member that lived at the residence and his parents had knowingly called the police on him.
[San Ramon] 1:30 AM – A DUI driver was placed in custody after she hit a car, fence and cylinder blocks in the parking lot of the Outpost.
[MtDiablo] 10:00 AM – Firefighters aided a 10-year-old special needs child after he fell 20-50 feet from a rock at Rock City. An air ambulance and CHP helicopter was used in the rescue.
[Danville] 10:00 PM – Police were called to Safeway after a man reportedly stomped on and threw $100 worth of flowers around the store. He gave employees his name before leaving, and officers discovered it was the same subject they had contacted earlier after he was reportedly yelling at civilians. He was located and arrested.
