The Weekly Drama is an overview of Police/Fire incidents (newsworthy or not) that took place in the San Ramon Valley during the week, but never made news headlines.
Friday, January 12th
[Alamo] 1:00 PM – Firefighters responding to a report of a fire on Mt. Diablo discovered the “gray smoke” described by the caller was just fog.
[San Ramon] 5:30 PM – Paramedics treated and released a pedestrian that was struck by an RV traveling at a “very slow speed.”
Sunday, January 14th
[Mt Diablo] 12:00 PM – Paramedics treated a patient that accidentally spilled hot water on their skin at Junction Campground.
[Alamo] 6:00 PM – Officers from California Highway Patrol responded to a report that a vehicle struck the center divide on I-680. The caller said the vehicle lost a wheel but continued driving, leaving sparks in its wake. The vehicle was not located.
Monday, January 15th
[San Ramon] 10:00 AM – Police responded to a report of subjects stealing mail near Cobblestone Drive. Officers located and arrested the suspects behind Safeway on San Ramon Valley Blvd. Stolen property was also recovered.
[Danville] 3:00 PM – A 73-year-old man riding an electric bike was killed after colliding with a speed bump on Highland Drive.
[San Ramon] 9:00 PM – Police received a call from a citizen stating he was a victim of a prank in which unpaid for pizzas were delivered to his residence.
[San Ramon] 11:30 PM – Pleasanton Police arrested a suspect who fled from police following a vehicle pursuit that terminated with a collision at Dougherty Road and Old Ranch Road. The suspect was located within the surrounding neighborhood.
Tuesday, January 16th
[Danville] 2:00 PM – Officers responded to a report that a vehicle collided with a sign at McDonald’s, causing it to be stuck and unable to exit the drive-thru. The vehicle was towed away.
Wednesday, January 17th
[San Ramon] 9:30 AM – A suspect was caught on video before he allegedly burglarized a house by smashing a window. The suspect was seen fleeing in a vehicle driven by another suspect.
Thursday, January 18th
[Alamo] 2:00 AM – Multiple suspects, including a known gang member that was on probation for stolen vehicle charges, were arrested in Concord following a police pursuit. The stolen vehicle was first spotted by deputies in Alamo.
[San Ramon] 12:00 PM – The driver of a stolen vehicle was taken into custody after an occupant began running from officers as they were responding to a different call.
[Danville] 11:00 PM – Officers were dispatched to a report of a residential burglary on Claypool Court. Three suspects were seen fleeing in a vehicle.
Friday, January 19th
[San Ramon] 9:00 PM – Police were called to the In-N-Out after a citizen reported multiple females wearing face paint yelling at passersby. The caller also said they believed it was a hate crime. Officers were unable to locate any disturbance at the location.
