The Weekly Drama is an overview of Police/Fire incidents (newsworthy or not) that took place in the San Ramon Valley during the week, but never made news headlines.
Saturday, February 3rd
[Danville] 11:00 AM – Paramedics were called to Costco to aid a shopper was reportedly struck in the leg with a shopping cart.
[San Ramon] 7:00 PM – Police were called to the Buffalo Wild Wings after an employee was terminated, proceeded to the bar, then refused to leave when asked.
[San Ramon] 7:30 PM – Officers were dispatched to a report of a Peacock in lanes of traffic, causing a hazard.
[Danville] 11:30 PM – Police response was requested at residence near Diablo Road after multiple intoxicated subjects attempted to interfere with paramedics aiding a severely intoxicated minor.
Sunday, February 4th
[San Ramon] 1:00 AM – Officers responded to a report that multiple Shaboom security guards were attempting to detain a patron who assaulted another individual. He was not arrested.
[Danville] 7:00 PM – Police responded to a report of juveniles on the bleachers of San Ramon Valley High School causing a disturbance. The caller thought their words were inappropriate.
[San Ramon] 11:30 PM – Police received a report from a resident who reportedly observed their cat inside a neighbor’s live animal trap.
Wednesday, February 7th
[San Ramon] 1:00 PM – Police were dispatched to a report of a residential burglary in progress on Briar Oaks Drive. A homeowner reported two suspects were burglarizing his home while he was inside. Officers arrived an learned the suspects fled in a gray vehicle. They located multiple pieces of found property in the neighborhood and near Tiger Lily Drive.
[Blackhawk] 1:00 PM – Deputies were notified of money in the roadway on Blackhawk Drive. The caller was concerned someone may run into traffic in an attempt to retrieve it.
[San Ramon] 2:00 PM – Police were dispatched to a report of a vehicle vs. bicyclist near the Iron Horse Trail. The victim, a high school student, sustained minor injuries.
Thursday, February 8th
[Danville] 8:30 PM – Police responded to a report of an elderly female being combative with a gas nozzle at the ARCO gas station. The caller was concerned the behavior would cause an explosion hazard.
Friday, February 9th
[Danville] 5:10 PM – Police were dispatched to a physical altercation between male and female juveniles near Jamba Juice. Paramedics later responded to treat multiple involved subjects. Police confirmed the incident is under investigation and one of the involved male subjects presented an electronic stun gun during the altercation.
