Danville Historical Homes to Receive Plaques
DANVILLE – Members of the community are invited to come out on April 27, 2018 to honor two of the Town of Danville’s historic buildings with new commemorative plaques.
Members of both the Heritage Resource Commission and Town Council, as well as Town staff, will be on hand to unveil the plaques, commemorating the history of the Foster/Cabral House at 402 Hartz Avenue and the Joe Foster House at 404 Hartz Avenue.
Town of Danville Principal Planner David Crompton said the plaques on these two historic resources continues a series of dedications designed to honor the Town’s historic sites.
“We are very pleased to continue this new program,” Crompton said. “The plaques give Danville residents a wonderful sense of the history of their home.”
The presentation of the new plaques is set for 4:00 p.m., April 27, 2018, beginning at the Foster/Cabral House, 402 Hartz Avenue.
