Deputies investigating Thursday night armed robbery in north Alamo
ALAMO – Deputies are investigating an armed robbery in which several suspects brandishing weapons reportedly held up a resident on Evelyn Court.
At around 9:30 pm Thursday, deputies were dispatched to a report of an armed robbery on Evelyn Court in north Alamo.
The victim reported that several suspects wearing ski-masks and dark clothing approached him in the driveway of his home.
Two were armed with handguns and demanded the keys to the house. The victim was taken inside the residence at gunpoint and ordered to the floor while the suspects went through the house.
The victim was also struck with a wooden chair prior to the suspects leaving with some personal property. The suspects fled in a dark-colored four-door sedan in an unknown direction.
The Sheriff’s Office Crime Lab processed the scene after the Danville PD canine team searched the area. The suspects are outstanding.
