Driver in critical condition after vehicle crashes into a tree on Bollinger Canyon Road

SAN RAMON – A victim was taken to a local hospital after his vehicle collided with a tree on Bollinger Canyon Road Thursday night.

At 10:40 pm Thursday, paramedics were dispatched to a report of a vehicle into a tree on Bollinger Canyon Road near Talavera Drive. Responding police officers were first at the scene and located the driver inside the vehicle, seriously injured, bleeding and unconscious.

Firefighters arrived soon after an deployed the jaws of life to free the victim, who was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

Police closed westbound Bollinger Canyon Road near Talavera Drive while they investigated the incident.
