Firearm, Two Vehicles Taken in Sunday Morning Burglary
SAN RAMON – Police are investigating a residential burglary in which two vehicles and a firearm were taken from a San Ramon residence.
The suspect(s) in the burglary, which was reported Sunday morning on Yosemite Ave, gained access to the residence before stealing car keys from inside the home.
According to San Ramon Police Lt. Denton Carlson, two vehicles parked in the victim’s driveway, along with additional property inside the two vehicles were taken in the burglary.
Carlson said a firearm that was inside one of the vehicles at the time of the burglary was also taken in the incident.
Authorities say they have already recovered one of the stolen vehicles, including the “majority” of the property that was inside.
However, Carlson confirmed the neither the firearm nor the other stolen vehicle has been recovered.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
