Monte Vista to Host Rivals San Ramon Valley in Basketball Game Fundraiser

Cross-town rivals Monte Vista Mustangs will host the San Ramon Valley Wolves in a basketball game to raise money for Jake Javier’s recovery fund.

The fundraiser basketball game will tip-off Saturday at 5:00 pm in Monte Vista’s main gym. The game, featuring the 2015 state champions (San Ramon Valley) and the 2014 state champions (Monte Vista) is expected to fill up quickly.

Admission to the event is free but donations are welcome and will go directly toward the expenses of Jakes recovery.

A friend of Jake’s posted a video on YouTube (link) to promote the game. The theme of the video is ‘Two Teams, Two Rings, One Community, One Cause.’
