Police Investigating Robbery at San Ramon Gas Station
Police were dispatched to a local gas station after they received a call that a robbery had taken place at the location.
At approximately 9:40 p.m. Thursday evening, San Ramon Police responded to the Valero on Market Place (across from the new San Ramon City Hall).
According to police, the suspect allegedly reached over the counter and grabbed some money from the register. He was last seen traveling east-bound on Market Pl.
The suspect is described as a black male adult in his late 20’s wearing a multicolored green flannel, black pants and a black long sleeve shirt.
A police K9 team attempted to track the suspect’s scent. Our cameras were rolling as the police pooch took a *tactical leak* on a nearby fire hydrant (see video).
Unlike a different robbery at a different San Ramon gas station about a week ago, no weapons were seen or mentioned during the incident.
The suspect was not located.
