VIDEO: Robbery Suspect Robs the Same San Ramon Bank, Again
SAN RAMON – Police believe a man suspected of taking a bank employee hostage during a February bank robbery is responsible for another armed robbery that occurred Tuesday at the same bank.
According to San Ramon Police, officers were dispatched to a report of a bank robbery at 1:27 pm Tuesday afternoon at the US Bank, located at 2821 of Crow Canyon Road.
Police say their investigation found the suspect displayed a firearm, possibly a revolver, while demanding money in large denominations from several of the bank tellers.
The suspect is described by investigators as a white male adult, approximately 40-45 years old wearing a navy hooded sweatshirt, gray colored trousers, a light colored baseball hat and black sunglasses.
Police say they believe the suspect responsible for Tuesday’s robbery is also responsible for an armed robbery at the same location on February 6th, 2017 in which a bank employee was taken hostage as the suspect fled the building(read more).
