Porsche Taken in Alamo Carjacking Recovered After Suspects Flee Crash in Oakland
ALAMO – Authorities have recovered the heavily damaged white Porsche Boxster taken in a carjacking Monday morning in Alamo.
The Sheriff’s Office says they were notified at 10 am Tuesday morning that the Porsche had been involved in a multi-vehicle collision on northbound 880, near 66th Avenue, in Oakland.
An unknown driver, who authorities say may have been injured in the crash, fled the scene along with a passenger.
A deputy responded to the scene and confirmed the vehicle was the same Porsche Boxster that was carjacked in Alamo.
The Sheriff did not provide any information about the involved suspects, but did provide a photo of the (now damaged) Porsche.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office.
