VIDEO: Suspect Simulates Weapon to Rob San Ramon Gas Station

SAN RAMON – Police have released surveillance video of a robbery that took place inside a local gas station early Thursday morning.

At 4:51 am Thursday, police say a man between 18-23 years old walked into the Chevron gas station on the 18000 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard and simulated a weapon under his sweatshirt.

Police did not specify how much money was taken from the business, but surveillance video of the incident provided by police shows the interaction between the suspect and cashier lasted less than 15 seconds.

He was reportedly seen fleeing the business on foot toward San Ramon Valley Boulevard. No vehicles associated with the suspect were seen.

The suspect is described as a male 18-23 years old, standing 5′ 9″, and weighing roughly 115 pounds. He was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and brown pants.

Police are asking anyone with information about the individual to email Detective Corporal Rich Persson at rpersson@sanramon.ca.gov.

Dude I would have hit that fool so hard. San Ramon is full of people who love playing victim. Big surprise he got away with this when it’s a town full of grandparents and little ass kids who talk big.
