Security System Catches San Ramon Package Thief in the Act

Images captured at a residence on the 2600 block of Derby Dr around noon on Friday show a package thief caught in the act.

A white male adult in his 20’s can be seen stealing the package, then fleeing in a Silver 2003-2008 Nissan Maxima with abnormally large rims and possibly tinted tail lamps & rear windows.

The resident, whos security system captured the images, believes the thief may have been following a FedEx delivery truck around the neighborhood and snatched the package shortly after the delivery driver placed the package on the doorstep.

San Ramon Police are investigating.
