Sheriff Announces Arrest in Alamo Lewd Conduct Case

Detectives from the Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff have arrested 22- year-old Nicholas Daigle of Walnut Creek in connection with alleged lewd conduct that occurred at the Alamo Safeway last month (view story here).

Last week, the Sheriff’s Office posted surveillance photos and a video of the suspect on social media asking the public to identify the suspect.

The Sheriff’s Office says they received several tips via telephone and email identifying Daigle as the person in the images.

Officials say detectives arrested Daigle at his home Wednesday morning without incident. After being interviewed, he was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility on several charges: battery, indecent exposure, sexual battery, and engaging in lewd conduct.

Daigle is currently being held in lieu of $5,000 bail.
