Shot Fired, Witness Pistol Whipped During Danville Armed Robbery at Shopping Center
DANVILLE – A witness was pistol-whipped by one of three suspects during an armed robbery in the Livery Shopping Center Saturday afternoon.
At around 2:44 pm Saturday, officers with the Danville Police Department were notified of an armed robbery at the Livery Shopping Center on Sycamore Valley Road.
As three suspects armed with extended magazine handguns were robbing a victim of a watch, a witness attempted to intervene. One of the suspects struck the witness with a pistol and a suspect fired a round from their firearm.
No one is believed to have been struck by the gunfire. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle.
Late Sunday morning at approximately 11:00 am, officers with Antioch Police observed a vehicle they believed to have been involved with the robbery. Officers with the California Highway Patrol pursued the vehicle until the occupants surrendered at the intersection of 24th Street and Telegraph, near Lake Merritt in Oakland. Detectives responded to the scene and are still working to determine if the occupants or vehicle are associated with the robbery.

Now don’t be stupid and release them on bail!
Are you listening Judges? Do NOT release on bail!
CRIME the new black entitlement! Wake up whitey our rulers are ruining us!
No matter what the crime, if a gun is used, no bail should be allowed. Then a minimum of 5 years in jail, and a lifetime restriction on gun ownership. Guns are the problem!
As if these gang bangin thugs are purchasing their weapons at the local gun store through legal transactions. Get a clue. They could give a damn if you slap them with a “ lifetime restriction on gun ownership” or bar them from legally buying guns for all eternity. 99% of their guns are stolen with serial numbers removed and are bought on the street, not the local Dicks Sporting goods. Thugs with no respect for their fellow man are the problem. NOT guns!!
Makes no sense. Every analysis of gun violence points to the relationship between the increasing number of guns out there and rising shootings. So guns are the biggest part of the rise in violence via shootings. End of story.
