Suspect wanted for attempted murder after shooting in San Ramon
SAN RAMON – Police are looking for a suspect that allegedly shot a driver in San Ramon last week, leaving the bloodied victim with a bullet-riddled vehicle.
On Thursday, January 18th, police say they responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked on Minerva Way. Responding officers located a vehicle with bullet holes on the exterior and a blood trail leading away from the scene.
Detectives later learned the driver of the vehicle was a victim of a shooting that occured in San Ramon earlier Thursday evening and was being treated at a local hospital.
Authorities have identified the suspect as 21-year-old San Leandro resident Trevor Michael Berryman. He is wanted for attempted murder and conspiracy.
Investigators believe a 2009 Mercedes-Benz with a California license plate of 6UWK467 was used during the commission of the crime.
Police say they are not releasing additional details about the incident, including where in San Ramon shooting took place or if the victim attempted to report the original incident to authorities.
