Tree work scheduled for next week in Danville
DANVILLE – Town staff is advising residents of tree work that will be conducted next week in multiple locations around town.
Crews will be working December 26-27, 2018 on Diablo Road to remove a tree that has partially fallen and is in danger of collapse. Maintenance Services Director Jed Johnson said the work is scheduled to occur from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. both days. A detour around the work zone will be in place utilizing Clydesdale Dr. and Fairway Dr. Motorists are asked to use caution through the detour area and expect minor delays.
Residents are also advised that tree maintenance work will affect parking near both Danville South Park and the Danville Library/Danville Community Center.
Crews will be on hand on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Danville South Park. From 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. For resident’s safety, the play area will be closed during that time, and parking on Serene Court near the play area will be affected as well. Signage denoting the closure will be posted at the park.
Additional work is set for Tuesday and Wednesday, December 26-27, 2018 at the Danville Library/Danville Community Center, 400 Front St. Crews will be on the east side of the parking lot, and parking will be closed in that area, for safety reasons.
