Two Arrested After Late Night Stabbing & Robbery in Danville
DANVILLE – Police have arrested two people in connection to a stabbing and robbery in a Danville neighborhood Tuesday night.
At around 11:30 pm Tuesday night, police responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon on the 500 block of Mikado Circle, according to Town of Danville Public Information Coordinator Geoff Gillette.
Officers arrived and found the victim, an 18-year-old Danville resident, suffering from an apparent stab wound, Gillette said.
The victim was taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek for treatment. Gillette confirmed the victim is listed in “stable” condition.
From the victim, officers were able to gather a description of the suspect and the vehicle he was driving.
Police also said several items were taken from the victim during the incident, including money.
Gillette said Brentwood Police officers located the suspect vehicle before Danville Police officers detained and arrested the vehicle’s two occupants.
Police have identified the suspects as a 17-year-old juvenile from Antioch and 22-year-old Luc Foglizzo from Brentwood. The juvenile is being held at the Contra Costa County Juvenile Detention Facility and Foglizzo at the Martinez Detention Facility.
They are being charged with: Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Armed Robbery and Conspiracy.
Police have not said what lead up to the incident, or the circumstances surrounding it, citing that the investigation is ongoing.
