VIDEO: Woman Steals Credit Card from Purse in Danville

DANVILLE – Police are asking the public’s help to identify a suspect who was seen stealing a credit card from a purse inside a store in downtown Danville.

In surveillance video provided by police, the suspect can be seen reaching into a purse sitting on a chair next to her in a store on the 300 block of Hartz Ave.

A separate camera angle in the store clearly shows the suspect, who is described as a 5’6″ African-American woman in her 30’s.

She allegedly used the stolen credit card it moments later at a nearby grocery store, according to police.
